Most research peptides ship as a freeze-dried powder in a sealed vial, labelled by total mass — so many milligrams in the vial. Before it can be drawn into a syringe it has to be dissolved in a measured volume of bacteriostatic water. That step is reconstitution, and it is where the units change: the label speaks in milligrams, the syringe is marked in millilitres or "units", and the amount a person has decided on is usually written in micrograms. Three different scales for one liquid.
Every error people report comes from mixing those scales up — reading a syringe unit as a microgram, or forgetting that adding twice the water halves the concentration. The converter above does one narrow thing: it takes the vial contents, the diluent volume and the amount you have written down, and expresses that amount as a volume on the syringe. It does not know what any compound is for and will not tell you what amount to use. That decision is yours and your clinician's; the arithmetic is the only part it helps with.
